What is All On Four Implant Treatment and How is it Applied?
The All On Four implant concept, as the name suggests, is based on placing four dental implants into a completely edentulous jawbone and attaching a fixed prosthesis on top of them. This technique differs from traditional implant applications with its biomechanical principles. While in standard applications, 6 or 8 implants must be placed vertically into the jawbone, in the All On Four technique, two implants are placed vertically in the front region, and two implants are placed at angles of 30 to 45 degrees in the back region. This angled placement allows us to avoid anatomical obstacles (sinus cavities and nerve channels) and enables the implants to adhere to better quality bone tissue.
The biggest difference and advantage of this method is that temporary fixed teeth can be placed on the same day the implants are inserted. With this 'Immediate Loading' protocol, our patients come to our clinic either without teeth or with teeth to be extracted, and by the evening of the same day, they leave with their fixed teeth. This process provides great comfort, especially for patients who do not want to be disconnected from their work and social life. It is important that the patient's overall health is suitable for surgical intervention and that there are no systemic diseases, such as uncontrolled diabetes, which could impede healing. Additionally, the bone volume in the area where the implants will be placed, especially in the anterior region, must be at an adequate level. Stages of All On Four Implant Treatment

- Examination and Digital Planning During the first appointment, we perform a detailed intraoral examination and use Computerized Tomography (CT) to view your jawbone in 3D. We digitally plan the most suitable implant sizes and angles for your bone structure.
- Surgical Operation Under local anesthesia or sedation, we extract any teeth that need to be removed and place 4 implants at the planned points during the same session. We apply all necessary anesthesia protocols to ensure you feel no pain during the procedure.
- Temporary Prosthesis Application Immediately after the implants are placed, we attach a temporary fixed prosthesis that we have pre-prepared according to your measurements. This allows you to pass the healing process without being edentulous.
- Permanent Prosthesis Stage After approximately 3 months of healing and osseointegration, we place your custom-designed permanent porcelain teeth, supported by metal or zirconium, which are both aesthetically and functionally suited to you.
